Why would Mihawk go to reverie.
In chapter 925 Mihawk brings up Reverie as an interesting topic was brought up on the newspaper.
Mihawk is a Warlord. If the Warlords are abolished it would impact him directly. That's at least one reason for him to go to Reverie.
Even if he went to reverie, why would he choose to go after Perona afterwards. He doesn't want Perona to be with him anyway because he'll soon be attacked by Marines.
Mihawk is friends with Shanks and Shanks is working to directly oppose Blackbeards plans. Mihawk would realize the type of danger she would be walking into and while you disagree, I always got the impression Perona and Mihawk were sort of close but had type of personalities in terms of friends. Which was reflected in the fact they made meals for one another, farmed for one another and even argued like an old married couple at points. They've voluntarily spent years together.
Also, Mihawk is not so weak that he'd lose to something like that, unless you believe Shanks can go out in the same way
Why not? We've seen Blackbeards entire crew go down to a surprise attack by Magellan and he's the primary antagonist of the series. We've seen Katakuri taken by surprise by Flampes darts hitting Luffy- something he was entirely unaware of.
We've even seen Whitebeard a Yonko, stabbed in the back when he didn't expect it.
Even very strong individuals can be ambushed.
