Mike Evans Mr.1K

I think most people would argue stuff like this isn't important and I would agree to an extent.

However I think this is important for Mike's career and how he will be perceived in the future as well as Brady and the perception of how well he fit in.

If you were to look at Mike's career and see this long streak of 1k seasons and then a sudden drop off in yards the first year with Brady it doesn't look great on Mike, Brady or specifically Arians.

I believe the expectations w/ Brady & Evans was to expect something close to the 2007 Patriots or at least the best season by a Brady WR since Randy Moss in '07. I'd say 1300 yards and 15 TDs on the low end.

As it currently stands the stats dont back that up at all. Mike is averaging the worst receptions per game, yards per game and yards per reception in his career.

Its not all bleak he does have the 2nd most TDs in a season for his career.

But yea, I believe the perception already is that Brady, Arians and the WR are not all on the same page. Mike Evans having under 1k rec yards on the season would be an eyesore and confirmation of that.

Injuries hurt and no training camp but if you told anyone that going into the last two games Mike Evans w/ Tom Brady was 221 yards short of a thousand yard season they would be shocked.
