[Mild spoilers?]I have a lot of questions for the Legacy players

How did you feel when SE announced to shut the game down and redo the whole thing? I had mixed feelings on this. Too many people were screaming for a FFXI clone which wouldn't hold up in today's gaming world. How were you feeling when Dalamud was coming down onto Erozea? I thought it was a good plot device. it was clear when Nael Van Darnus was possessed of sorts by it that it was more than just a meteor Were you genuinely surprised when Bahamut burst out of Dalamud? Not so much surprised as amazed by the pre-rendered video. I hoped that it spelled better things to come. How did you fare being left on a cliffhanger for two years? I bounced around between other games for a time. I got my alpha invite which only had Gridania and Central Shroud which gave me mixed impressions. It had potential, so I was going to stick with it. My raiding guild in WoW was crying that I left them six months prior. They wanted me back. What made you give FFXIV a second chance and came back? As much as I didn't want them to turn this into a FFXI clone, I had hopes that they would provide as much content as it. This meant multiple classes per character, lots of quests and side story content, and a land where you want to explore to find it's secrets. What was your immediate reaction and impression when you log onto FFXIV:ARR for the very first time? "Holy crap I got on. There are a lot of alpha players." They didn't have the queue system at that time. Server stability was in the crapper. In what way do you like ARR more? In what way do you like it less? I like how user friendly the UI and questing system is. As much as people hated hamlet from 1.0, I wish they would bring it back. It brought crafters and gatherers into battle-ish content. Now that we have our first expansion, FFXIV is finally going forward with its original vision, how do you feel about FFXIV now? It's in a better position in the MMO market for sure than when 2.0 first launched, but I think it still has a ways to go. It has leveling content then raiding content with very little casual content to keep people logging on other than a basic gear latter. The gold saucer was a nice start, but they really should add some more mid-tier content to the game. Please let me know any other opinion and personal feeling you have on the game!! For me FFXIV is the best MMO on the market.
