it’s the point of an artist to stay genuine to herself. & if you bring up the bullshit “she talked down on rap music & called it shit” she DIDNT!! she literally said she doesn’t like meaningless mumble rap about fucking bitches & drugs bc it’s low key very misogynistic (something most people on this sub already know) & she went on to say she prefers rap like Kendrick’s that has actual meaning & a life story behind it. something with an actual message that can help empower minorities. i just think it’s ridiculous that so many people can’t drop it. she never “condemned” rap music. she said she doesn’t like mainstream rap. 90% of this sub would agree with that statement considering the mainstream rappers of today are all pretty trash & don’t talk about anything that has substance to it. i wish y’all would let this stupid narrative go.
