Why Military?

In prospect of employment: employers want people they can trust to get the job done regardless of your title on the job-site. As a member of the former military, employers will look more closely at you for your ability to rise above and beyond the call of your normal duties at a assigned job title in order to make their companies run smoothly. on the other end of this you may basically form that the USMC and the Army are general (jack of all trades) types of training. Before your particular "MOS" you are a rifleman first and foremost. as for the Air Force and the Navy...the titles are a bit more specialized they generally house the more professional trades (i.e. dentist, doctor, etc.). You are able to rise to a profession in any of the armed services, but as far as Army and Marines are concerned your first job is basic rifleman, then your chosen mos. Think of college as a trade school...Community college will prepare you for life in general, while a graduate program will prepare you for success in a chosen profession.
