Millennials being squeezed out of middle class, says OECD

I'm in the 3% and live in a 1% town. Because I'm "poor" for my town, I always feel like I'm upper middle class at best. And this is the bubble I live in, I never see a single bad thing.

But reading replies in this thread has reminded me I don't live in the same world as most of the country. A lot of people I know pay 30k and more in property taxes alone. That's more than many people make.

Honestly, I'm more than happy to pay more taxes for a more fair society. My area has insane taxes, but that's why it's so damn nice. You get what you pay for, but apparently most people are greedy and don't give a shit if other people live in poverty. We have to accept higher taxes.
