Ok, I'm more of a newer airsoft person as I've only been to about 3 games. I have good gear and everything, and I enjoy milsim because it's cool to see that you can replicate things that you wouldn't be able to if you're for example playing with nerf guns, as it would probably be more expensive to modify the nerf gun to shoot automatically and then single, and buying nerf guns like the Stryfe in which you would need to buy even more attachments to spice it up to make it look like one, and buy the optics and other attachments. The speedQB community personally isn't that bad, but it feels like they are trying to recreate a "Call of Duty" match with odd stuff (Speedsofters) and don't blend in with the environment usually, but honestly, I would just say milsim because you can do so many things and have an actual basis or replica of what your kit is.
