THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM POSTSEASON CONTENTION

You see the classic rivalries, Dodgers-Giants, Red Sox-Yankees, Cubs-Cardinals, their fans don't let the other teams take over stadiums even of their team is on track to lose 100 games.

The fact that they don't let this happen even when their team sucks ass is why they are classic, permanent rivalries. Temporary and/or new rivalries can form between two good teams and each teams fanbase turns out for the home games.

The fact that the Brewers were this good this year, and it was still as much Wrigley North as it's always been shows Brewers fans either don't view this as a big enough rivalry, or don't know how to act when they are in one.
