I did some coin rate calculation for myself and came to the conclusion that building 100 screens etc. isn't worth it. In terms of trust rank, you'd only be some days ahead. The downside is, you'll have 100 screens or whatever else you built of which you'll likely never use in your final Pot design. It is a waste of materials and time needed to gather them. After you are done, you'd have to gather materials again to build what you want.

If you just built all blueprints at least once and then build extras of things you actually want (even if it is green items), you won't be far behind of those who try to min-max with purple items. At the end, you'll have items you actually want/need, and maybe a decent looking place.

I am at 26 coins/hr, could probably get 28 if I spent all my speed vials. A 2 coin difference allows someone to buy one extra green blueprint in 40 hours, or purple in 120 hours (5 days).
