Kinda random, but I've been looking for photos of the Indonesia-Malaysia confrontation from the Indonesian side. The Commonwealth side is generally pretty well-documented except for the Claret cross-border raids (apparently one poor SASR operator got killed by a wild elephant). The operation was basically Sukarno's Falklands, and a lot of historical studies in the country got shuttered under the 1967-1998 New Order regime, so as I understand it, their photos and veterans' testimonials didn't surface until quite recently. The early Cold War was a pretty wild period for Indonesia overall; if you've seen the documentaries The Act of Killing/The Look of Silence on Netflix, you might get a picture of how the 1965-1966 killings looked like on the ground, but the big picture is just so... surreal.
