Back in my middle school, we didn’t have a traditional oval track where the coach could see all their students completing the mile. Instead, we had “upper” and “lower” fields, and when you connected the two, you would get a full mile. In order to move between the two fields, there was a single ramp and it was surrounded by trees everywhere else on the incline.

Of course, needless to say, we little dipshits just cut through the trees in order to get 6 minute miles lmao. In fact, we had to hang out in the trees for a few minutes because otherwise we’d have 3 minute miles if we ran with no stops xD

Either the coach knew what was going on or his reaction to the fat kids getting 6 minute miles is equivalent to ours and OP’s gif of “what the fuck is going on?”
