I'm sorry that you must have experienced enough terrible things in MN to push you to write this post.

One thing to note about MN though: regardless of skin tone, most of us are very hesitant to let new people into our circles. You can find evidence of this sentiment if you look for it. Ask any white person who has moved here. Unless they're gifted as being super people-oriented, most will tell you the same thing: it was very difficult to make new friends here and feel 'accepted.'

That's not to discount everything you said, because I'm sure your experiences are quite real. But, do keep this fact in mind, because if you chalk it 100% up to race you're going to drive yourself insane here. I can't even imagine.
