Misanthropy is not just a means to be an edgelord. It is also a critique humanity that can bring forth change.

This is why I miss the lockdowns and when it was socially acceptable to social distance and be a hermit. Crime was down by a lot and having fewer people on the road with their vehicles improved the environment. There was cleaner air and the animals were much happier and free. The spread of the flu and other sicknesses (minus covid) was at an all time low. Most people actually respected each other’s boundaries and stayed away from each other. It was nice not having obligations and being able to spend the time doing what we wanted without judgment from ignorant people.

Other than people suffering from anxiety, depression and loneliness due to isolation, it seemed like a very peaceful time for most of us. Now that things are returning back to “normal” you can clearly see that people are right back to their old habits of ruining the plant once again with their filth.
