[Misc] The amount of body dysmorphia in this sub is sad

But people don't have to be okay with it. There's nothing wrong with caring about how you look and paying money for a procedure. Yes, some people suggested botox because that's an actual solution and the answer to her question. It's pretty patronizing to tell someone "you look great do nothing about your appearance!" when you don't really know their life or why they want it. Yes, body dysmorphia is terrible and the current airbrushed beauty standards are terrible, but also, we live in an age where some people can choose to change how they look. They live in the body, they're allowed to tale advantage of it. We mustn't swing to the opposite of extreme and suggest that botox itself for 25 year olds is inherently wrong. It's not, it's about the person taking it...
