[MISC] Daily Discussion Thread (Febuary 23, 2017)

To add to this, u/goaliedude3919 is acting like there was discussion about it, when clearly in the span of 5 minutes there couldn't have been that lengthy of a discussion. What was posted is the same realm as Mike over-drinking and ending up in the tank, and that discussion continued in a thread for quite some time and was referenced quite a bit following... If "an optic member" made a mistake and posted something they shouldn't have, that's on them and its not up to the moderators on this subreddit to moderate the org's behaviour. To group it under "personal information" to appease the org is ridiculous, understandable given the image optic is trying to uphold, but ridiculous. If it was a posted on a social media platform that wasn't made available to the public, then I could see the justification about it going too deep in the private life of the members or "Rule 1" , but for this circumstance I think it's an unfair use of the moderator tools to moderate discussion between members of this subreddit who happened to see what was posted to appease optic when this is the fan's subreddit, not the Optic Organization.
