[Misc] Hyped up products that did or didn't work for you?
Didn’t work:
CeraVe in the tub: I loved the texture and how it made my skin feel. Unfortunately it started clogging my pores and I ended up with closed comedones everywhere.
The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors: I have pretty oily skin, but this somehow dried my skin out and made it feel tight.
The Ordinary Niacinamide + Zinc: The only thing that’s ever actually kept my skin matte. Then it broke me out in the worst acne I’ve ever had - proper cysts that took weeks to go away.
Did work:
CeraVe Foaming Cleanser: I like my cleansers to actually make my skin feel...clean. This does that.
Biore Watery Essence: The only SPF I’ve ever liked. It’s so light and watery, I can’t feel it on my face, it doesn’t leave me shiny and it doesn’t break me out.
Lanolin on lips: My lips still do get cracked/peely, but it’s still the best stuff I’ve tried. It stays on my lips for hours too, instead of being wiped away quickly like other balms.
