[Miscellaneous] What's the weirdest/cringiest/most upsetting thing about your skin that you've been told?

My ezcema was flaring up, but I was 13 and self conscious sp I covered my face in foundation and concealer and tried to ignore the stinging. I went on the class trip to Chicago and took my makeup off in the hotel, one of my "friends" saw me and yelled, "ohmygodthatswhatyouactuallyLOOKlike? Ewww!". My eyes and cheeks were super splotchy and red.

When I was a junior in high school someone came up to me and asked me why I was so tan? Do I use self tanner? Do I spend all day outside? No, and I use spf almost everyday. She was so confused. But, how did I get myself so tan? Even the inside of my wrist was tan? And she can never get that spot to tan on her.

Umm.. do you know what genetics are? My family isnt Northern European, so my skin is 10 shades darker than hers from birth? I was more concerned for her than offended.
