OP, those times will never come back, the game is no longer social and fun as it used ti be. The developers seem to be still experimenting with the game and changes are made with no criteria. I think the reason why most old players still play it, is because of those memories from the beginning of the game, it really used to be awesome! But now, the game is no longer sandbox, everyone does the same thing, intercontinental trade is dead, oceans are dead, packs have timers that expire, fishing is worthless, crafting is worthless, everyone just do the same everyday. Give it a shot, but you will be disappointed if you have the old days in your mind. Good luck!
