I miss being a teenager

I say this because I was once where you are, are you on the right meds? I really needed to learn to advocate for myself and let my doctor know "hey I dont feel good but I know there are things we can do to make it better". I am 47 now and up until 7 years ago I was miserable, I was a zombie, I could not even read a book because of the meds they had me on. After some trial and error with my meds I hit that sweet spot and my life completely changed. I started eating better, started exercising, socializing, excelling at my job. It is 100% doable. This disease doesn't have to control your life. You can control it! I had severe anxiety with my BP2 which took a little longer to get under control but we did. I will share what I take but as always keep in mind everyone is different. I take 200MG Seroquel, 1200MG Lithium, .5 clonezepam twice a day, 15mg Buspar twice a day and 300MG Bupropion. These cover anxiety, mood swings and depression. I forgot to add dont be afraid to switch doctors if they are not helping. There are good and bad ones just like any profession. After switching 5 times I found the one who put me on the right meds.
