i think Nuclear Winter was something special.

Personally it felt to me like a gamemode set just after the bombs, everything is on fire, you have to keep moving, looting, and moving, maybe hiding, there is no time for anything but surviving.

It had what adventure mode didnt; the possibility of failure. Are there really any consequences in adventure mode? You can fail events, sure. You can lose or waste resources, but the biggest (only?) possibility of "failure" in adventure mode is missing out on getting a rare item, like we have been seeing recently with the mole treasure pails.

In contrast the high tension moments of a NW match brought something needed, while still remaining lighthearted and casual. It was too clunky to get too serious. The chance to fail or succeed based on you and your team is the kind of RNG fo76 really needs
