Missing Milestones

Because she planned a 7 month vacation, rented out her house for 6 months, and had Covid hit two weeks into her trip. And despite my frustration, I love her and don't want her on the streets in a pandemic while already having respiratory issues.

Yes, I took them in with bacterial pneumonia and let them quarantine in my home as it was proven to be not Covid, and had them as tenants by the time they were recovered.

Everything therapist-wise that's covered by my insurance had a 6 week wait list before covid, and it's gotten a lot longer since then.

Yes, I've considered the obvious solutions. Usually I live 1500 miles away from the possibility of this dynamic, so I wouldn't say I'm usually an idiot about this.

I have a defined end date for escaping the situation, I was just hoping for advice about getting through this during lockdowns.

"Get therapy and make an exit plan" is not useful advice.
