I think that's what the Student Body wants. If they can't have Colonel Reb, they'll have a ridiculous succession of lame and ridiculous mascots and sow so much confusion that when people say "Who is OM's mascot?" the only thing people will remember is when Col Reb was the mascot, before the Chaos. The Black Bear and the Landshark were pretty smart picks for this purpose. One so anonymous and non-memorable that people never really rallied around it, and the other so ridiculous that you've got to don a paper bag to rally around it.

This is what you get when you tell one of the top Law Schools in the nation that it can't have its longtime mascot anymore because it's offensive. Mark my words, Col Reb will be back on the field in the next decade.
