Just check the label on your preworkout some aren’t filled with stimulants.

Stimulants are a double edged sword as for many they make a gym run possible when they otherwise might stay home, but they actually negatively impact your pump along with making even moderately intense cardio nearly impossible at least for me.

I find that anything containing beta alanine is enough to get me in the gym as I don’t like sitting at home itching myself. Beta alanine is not a stimulant it’s a great pump ingredient.

Additionally if you are “crashing” after taking the preworkout for your morning workout and are drinking the extra coffee cups because you find yourself with lower energy levels later in the day when you otherwise wouldn’t have needed the coffee you need to get a different preworkout as they don’t all cause crashes especially if they don’t contain stimulants. If you are like me and hate throwing away a preworkout you can play with what time you take it prior to your night time workout ideally working it so that you “crash” right when it’s time to go to sleep anyways.

Keep in mind you can put the preworkout in the freezer for long term storage and it won’t clump up like it would stored long term at room temperature. A good chunk of my freezer is devoted to preworkouts I didn’t like for one reason or another, but couldn’t bring myself to throw out.
