This mobile game looks familiar somehow.

Government actually fosters competition

Aimbots actually foster competition.

Calling the government some kind of illuminati conspiracy

I didn't do that. If you want to have any credibility then stop making things up.

The only cases where government steps in and appears to be creating monopolies

Not only are you dishonest, but you aren't even competent to talk about the subject. How do you not know that IP are explicitly government granted monopolies?

give me some BS like "there are no truly original ideas"

I didn't say that. There you go being dishonest again.

while that's true to an extent that doesn't mean they infringe upon other works.

It's absolutely true, not "true to an extent." Literally everything is a copy or remix of something else, from molecules to the DNA that makes life to the cultures and languages and social norms that life produces. The reason these don't "infringe upon other works" is because that notion is total bullshit and the universe would have stopped dead cold if there was a government at the big bang handing out monopolies on arrangements of atmoic components and such. IP is a new idea that's utterly contrary to how nature works, and as such it's not a surprise that it took something as backwards and failed as statism to produce it. Even IP lawyers think it's bullshit.

The ability to simply copy another person's work and then pass it off as either your own or to simply resell it at a cheaper price would be crippling to any industry which requires innovation.

This is indeed the myth that IP proponents constantly bring up. It's been proven dead wrong over and over. It's wrong on its face, which is why nature has resulted in human civilization without a state to guide the way by handing out monopolies. Just look at the open source community. I guarantee you're reliant on open source something simply to carry on this conversation. Here are some examples (1, 2).

your examples are overly simplistic

Right, coming from the guy who's completely wrong and doesn't even know that IP are monopolies.
