I'll agree with one sentiment here: EFT has one of the BIGGEST learning curves.

It does, it's absolutely insane. It's Rainbow Six, but nothing like it at the same time.

I will come back in months to come in hopes 45$ wasn't wasted - and pick up when the gets better or its abandoned. I will be honest with you, I think this game won't be here in a year. I think the budget in running dry, and I hope my 45$ helps in that... but from what I saw, I know I died to desync. I know this because I played with other people who played for months and said it was. They also said we were lucky to not run into hackers in that time... like that was an accomplishment.

But yes, this game has potential. It does, but that doesn't mean it will fulfill that potential and the shills here won't help that.
