Here goes!
1. I've got loads of RP experience and over a month in Dorne. I'm very familiar with the current situations, having occupied a role of some importance on the other end of Dorne. Additionally, I enjoy the game best when I'm interacting with others, as evidenced by the general scarcity of lore. I generally feel at my best when I can see how my characters respond to other people and situations not entirely under my control. A propensity for interaction with others would serve well in the position of a Lord Paramount, better than a desire to lore exstensively, which I know has driven some lords paramount to unclaim in the past.
2. I've been one of the more active players in Dorne in recent times and have intensely involved myself with the region and it's players. So in short, yes. Activity is my strong suit.
3. As the chief cause of one of those divisions, I have seen first hand how focusing on an external threat can silence them. I've had a bunch of Blackmont troops squatting in Starfall for over a year, something that would make Clara puke under normal circumstances. That alone should be proof that focusing on external threats can work. Additionally, there is the implementation of spatan's dornish defence plan that, inaddition to making us a less likely target, offers some binding compact between the houses and encourages a spirit of interhouse generosity. This, combined with Martell's habit of marrying into a lot of houses, should help keep the Sandship stable, as it were."
4. It is not lightly I would write an application to a paramount house. But having made that decision, I can genuinely say that I very much want to play a lord paramount house and am not already thinking of moving on. I'm in it for the long haul, and that is something that, while not necessarily unique, sets me apart.
