[Mod post] New flair system and Wiki layout

Shitlist: keep it. If you earned your spot on a shit list you should stay there and it should be public. Plus it shows the new people that the community has ratted out people before.

Verified / unverified. Not sure why remove it. Maybe rename it but there are sources that have come here and earned the rights to source. Where as others just pop up. There should be a distinction. But it should be just that a distinction and a goal for sources to get verified.

YES he was tested he delivers, NO he has not been tested. Whatever. It means NOTHING in the grand scheme of things but any new source should not be able to jump up and be on same field as sources who have been here and have been tested. You do not like VERIFIED then find a new term.

Reviews / ratings. Disagree. What is a 4 star to you who has been around could be a 5 star or a 1 star to others. If someone doesn't get a tracking report they are posting on line against sources. I could create 50 user names and post shit on everyone and positive about myself. Totally flawed system.

Some labs brew and give credit for blood work. That's fine. But resellers should not have to pay off blood work. So if you sell lab gear and product there will be fewer posts then if you offer credit or cash for posts. I just think this rating by reviews is a can of worms. Soon folks will be offering XXX for any review posted. Weekly we get msg from folks that do not even buy that if we do not do XXX they will say XXX about us.

TA reports totaled up, sure if you want but again should that NOT be a buyers choice and responsibility to go look up.

But I think this entire thing is going against the goal. Where as you are trying to keep things open and fair, this is opening a can of worms that will backfire. We do NOT need to hold the hands of everyone. If a new user comes on and reads VERIFIED and gets screwed over then so be it. Do your own due diligence, moderators are not hand holders.

The community reviews the sources and let that stand as it is. This point system and rating system is getting into fan boy club area and paying off reports.

For picking a source: How long has a source been in community? Look through reviews of that source. Look at sources product. Look at that sources delivery time and costs and etc...

Your entire rating thing just screams TripAdvisor to me.
