I can understand your aspect! Flirting and talking with people is a ton of fun, especially when it's practically anonymous. But I don't think it's absolutely necessary to have to have a good writing experience. If that's something you want to do, work it into a roleplay.

From my posting history, it's pretty obvious that I'm vanilla in what I look for in a roleplay. Now don't get me wrong, I love this sub because of the weirdness (keep doing you DPP!), and I'm all for exploring, but if you're looking for flirting and talking, why not make that the main focus of your post? Instead of jumping right into a roleplay involving three clowns, a midget, a monster cock, and a kiddie pool filled with jello (maybe a little exaggerated, no?), why not go for vanilla?

I know that everyone has their kinks (I have my own. I know, what a surprise!), but when I post, I post for the exact interaction that you're saying you want. Do I want that outside of my post? Sure, I'm not opposed to getting to know each other and flirting a little bit, but ultimately, this sub is for me to stretch my fingers and write, not to create a relationship other than friendships. I think this is where people stumble. People can get roleplay and real life confused far too easily. People have lives outside of this sub and I think despite our best intentions, we can get caught up in the flirting and think it to be real.

Back to my point! If you can have all of that flirtation and cutesy writing in a roleplay, which makes it fun but keeps the potential for real attachment at bay, why would it matter who's on the receiving end of your message? I'm sure you've roleplayed with a few guys unknowingly, and I don't think that's a bad thing. I've encountered partners who were males that write a better female than I do! Gender-specific verification could probably keep you from a great writing partner!
