[MOD] What have you been brewing this week?/ Coffee bean recommendations

As a newbie in the past week, I've burned through 500g of Panama Hortigal estate from my first trip to Redber roasters (while on my quest from porlex hand grinder and dedica to barista pro that I picked up yesterday in my ADHD addled excitement.)

I don't know if it's the oil content or its sensitivity to which way the wind is blowing when grinding, or even if I'm using too much for a shot - but I think I pulled one or two absolutely gorgeous shots from all of those poor beans - I'm getting another bag, this fucker isn't going to win.

On another note, I fired the sampler bag of Café Français (Also Redber) through the hopper and hit the tasting notes almost immediately with a wildly different grind setting - Strong taste of Brazils and makes a bold Latte where it is very present yet doesn't dominate the flavour unless you want it too.
