Modeling Is A Path To Success For Some (Hapa-Looking) Chinese Uighurs

Thanks for the insight. I've been trying to travel to different parts of Asia to enrich my knowledge of the various countries. From my own observations I noticed mannerisms changed depending on the venue I was at. If I was hanging out at the Siam Center in BKK, people were very unoffending. If I was hanging out at a local restaurant and if I opened up, the locals also opened up. In fact I felt like I got more smiles eating at the worker food stalls and just interacting with the street vendors.

I also did go into some high end places in Bangkok and people gave me weird stares, because I was dressed very casual, but the moment I talked and they heard my American English, mannerisms changed.

I also felt a sense of threat from many white expats. Since I'm very upfront, if someone postures on me I posture back aggressively.
