Modeling is pornography for women.

You know how TIMs and incels think life as a woman is “easy mode?”

I think modelling is selling young girls the dream of “easy mode.” Like you could be so pretty you can just walk through life getting adored and admired and not having to actually do anything or accomplish anything for it.

When you’ve got some life experience you can see through it - would any of us want to swap lives with a Kardashian? Never mind a Playboy bunny or god forbid Melania Trump. We can see that most women who make a living with their beauty are working damn hard for it, that being the centre of attention, smiling at creeps and fending off predators all day is actually not a very fun existence.

But for teenagers i think this “easy mode” fantasy where you never have to really grow up is alluring, and that’s dangerous, because it sucks young women into some dangerous and exploitative industries.
