Moderation lately

Sorry to bother you. I am a new user, I don't have a long history here so I am not aware of the active culture so I make mistakes. From your responses, it doesn't seem that you're interested in any sort of discussion OR contribution so I'll just post elsewhere. Perhaps you've been overwhelmed by other people posting inappropriate content, but I feel like collateral damage. When I started using Reddit, I read through the reddiquette document and one of it's core is "assume good faith". I had good faith posting a reminder about shovelling snow with a nice picture, but your responses have been nasty and passive agressive. Maybe you're having a bad day. Maybe I'm having a bad day. People's moods change greatly, but right now, I don't see any point in contributing to /r/Calgary because of your responses. I'm sure this comment will get a response of "don't let the door hit you on the way out loser" or similar, but at least now I expect it.

I'm not here for the 4-5 internet points. I'm here to be part of the /r/Calgary community.
