Modern PE programs fail to teach students valuable lessons and physically fail them at living a healthier life

Dude, where in the country was this? And when? My PE lessons were also somewhat structured but not to this degree.

Each term (3 terms in a year) we do 2difderent things - Autumn was tennis and netball, Spring was fitness and volleyball, Summer was athletics and Cricket. It wasnt enjoyable to me.

However, we got a new teacher in my later school years who focuses more on fitness that was genuinely fun and I loved it and got into HIIT and wanting to be stronger because of that. Netball, volleyball and cricket were all just boring to me - half of lesson time was waiting for you to play and the other half was "playing." This is early 2010s at a London school
