For those that agree with his line of thinking, he said it was 1,000 children. Now it's 3,109. Let's go with the 3,109 and say they all received 2 doses. In that scenario, preauthorization clinical trials account for less than .00068% of the 8.7 million doses that have now been administered. He said the vaccine is "Not necessarily [safer than covid] for kids" and based that opinion on a statistically insignificant subpopulation, of which none died. So even if we apply the test data to the population at large, it's still safer than covid.
