Ah, that stinks. I know it's tough to swallow but definitely remain calm in court and don't lose your cool. Calmly tell the judge that you believe that if he can afford an attorney, he can also afford to pay his child support. Print out documentation you found on the lawyer and bring it to court with you. Print things out from facebook and other social media platforms that could relate to this case. Call your local child support office and ask that they search his social for employers he may be receiving money from and request a wage assignment. Provide them with ANY info you have on him that relates to him making money - legally or not.

One of the things that has helped me tremendously in court is bringing any sort of documentation I can get my hands on and remaining professional and remaining calm every single time I'm in front of the judge, no matter how angry I am. There have been times my kids' father has been called out by the judge for laughing at me in court or trying to defend the fact that he hasn't paid. Just focus on being a good mother to your kid(s) and the judge will be able to see it and they will take you seriously and respect you. It takes a while, but things will get better! Good luck!
