MOLD. I found out there's mold in my apartment unit today, if I take this to court would it be worth it? I honestly just want out of here. We're doing month to month so I wouldn't be breaking a lease technically. I JUST paid my rent and I want my effing money back.

Over on the left side of the photo is where the mold is. I have a 2 year old, and a husband who is deathly allergic to penicillin. Along with this, the manager tried to lie and say it isn't mold when it most certainly is, even the maintenance crew said it is. This is a 1 bedroom and they've increased our rent from 729 to 869 since moving in. The cabinet doors are always falling off, sink is always backing up. There's no temperature control, the washers in the laundry room are always breaking. The floors are peeling up. The windows don't close all the way. They've been in here twice to check turn on the heater and check it to make sure its working right in the past 2 weeks, and never said anything about the mold until today. Why? Probably to cover their ass until they could get the new units in. So yeah, I'm going in guns blazing because this place is ran by a gd slum lord.
