Mom's group definitely isn't the right place for it, but their are definitely certain communities I'm in where friends "auction" off their other friends for dates and it's all in light-hearted fun. You post good pics and brag about your friends and then they get to meet and chat with a lot of other people with the same interests. Rarely does it lead to anything but I wouldn't necessarily say that they're "doing something wrong."
