Monday Night Thread!

Have a friendly chat with the lecturers and tutors. They are mostly trying to do their job, but some of the best moments I had in uni (just finished my second bachelor at the end of 2018) were interacting with them.

If you are open and accepting and willing to chat with anyone instead of just being part of a small group you will be surprised with the who you might make friends with.

Attend pre-exam study groups. Even if it is one day in your exam preparation. It allows you to compare what is in your head against what others know and are feeling.

For extracurricular, I would suggest doing volunteer work in an area relevant to your study. I did this for both degrees and it is definitely what allowed me to walk into a full time role both times.
