Yeah wonderful, but he never actually played at a high level. We all have a ton of useless footy knowledge but we dont actually know what it takes to be an elite footy player, or even just a standard footy player. Brandy won a comp and beat an immortal Meninga, Stuart, dailey etc etc. he actually has real credentials and an understanding of the game that one would only get from actually playing, he knows what its like to come out to a crowd during a grand final, he knows what its like to get smashed by someone twice his size, he knows what its like to kick a winning goal. Vossy may be involved and knowledgeable on the game, but his actually footy brain knowledge is limited to trivia facts, which he actually fucks up regularly like saying St Helens is rugby league heartland without football competition, yet one of the biggest football clubs in the world is literally a 20 minute drive down the road and that entire area is football mad. I dont hate him, he just waffles on a lot, i dont mind when the one waffling is a bloke who’s actually played at the top, just a personal thing. I dont find anything he says to be insightful really.
