Money management and home ownership with boyfriend

My partner and I did a 50/50 mortgage. We get paid into separate (personal) accounts but have a shared bank account for household expenses - everything from mortgage payments to groceries. Each of us deposits ~$20K at a time and we just withdraw from it until it runs out. He gets alerts on his phone with every use of our joint credit card (and does the same with his personal accounts); I'm not so finicky and don't care. He also has spreadsheets to track larger expenses (e.g., renos, furniture) to make sure we stay within a reasonable budget.

We do have some savings in the joint account - sort of a joint emergency/retirement fund. It comprises mostly of gift money from our families. We also have personal savings in our personal accounts. Our personal accounts also comprise our spending or "fun" money.

My partner does have business loans under a corporate name, but I have nothing to do with those loans (although I am a 10% shareholder in the company, lol, and their unofficial lawyer). I have no debt, either personally or professionally.
