The thing is thou, equity participation is interest, just with different mental gymnastic. So we can actually just use normal bank without worry, after all, the interest incurred by the bank to the deposit is due to the fact that the bank is utilizing the money that was deposited into the account for their business, in other word those interest is "profit sharing" and profit sharing is a ok.

Also people "REALLY" need to look at this hadith instead of just focusing on what Abu Hurairah narrated and ignore this peice: Narrated ‘Urwah Al-Bariqi: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave me on Dinar to purchase a sheep for him. So I purchased two sheeps for him, and I sold one of them for a Dinar. So I returned with the sheep and the Dinar to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and I mentioned what had happened and he said: ‘May Allah bless you in your business dealings.’ After that we went to Kunasah in Al-Kufah, and he made tremendous profits. He was among the wealthiest of the people in Al-Kufah.”
