Saaaave. Farm, even. On my monk, back in Classic on Green, I spent all of 30-38 in solA doing nothing except farming plat for an FBSS. I then bought it and...regret absolutely nothing. It’s one of the few items you can get that truly upgrades your char in a notable way.

It honestly might be worth going to SolA for you anyway to get xp and stuff like a Foreman’s tunic or kobold boots as minor upgrades to your silk in the interim.

To get non-KoS to Neriak for a bind you need like 30 greater lightstones to turn in in SRo, which costs 450pp but the turnins net 9pp a pop so you only “lose” 180pp, which is trivial to have an antonican bind spot and also access to SolA (where you can sneak sell/buy from the goblin merchant who sells food, drink, AND bandages)
