Monthly Fitness Pro-Tips Megathread

I realize you probably meant what happened specifically to me to make me so passionate about the food allergy test. I had been going to the gym for like 3-4 years religiously 4-5x a week trying to lose weight. Tried diets, the whole 9 yards. All I ever got was a little bit of progress every few months and could never seem to lose more than 10lbs and I’m not even sure it was always fat. 2 weeks after I cut out my allergens I lost 11lbs and the progress I was making with my strength training was a whole new world! I felt a little confused and surprised I had never had any trainer or article I had read so far even mention it or push people to take it as seriously as protein or exercising. When your body is set up for success and can function without distractions of fighting an allergy. It can focus better on building and progressing. It’s like trying to run a race but you’re the only one with a 10lb ball chained to you. You can still run it but you’re at a disadvantage.
