Moral dilemmas in RPGs - is there harm in averting some but not others?

Yeah, my group is also fairly liberal with RP. We don't get unnecessarily graphic. I am not sure that i remember our groups first sexual innuendo, but one of our Players decided to run Way of Wicked for us. Our normal DM, then just a player, decided to ham up his Austrian accent and bed several NPCs to get what they wanted.

After that, we had an encounter with a div in Mummys Mask, who messes with the players dreams. I was running, and was going to be slightly sexually provocative with them, but i let two other players who both guessed that she was a div both write the dreams. One of those people writes porn professionally. I let them write a little, but had to stop them from crossing too many lines. It was good to trust my friends to have fun without crossing lines, but i could easily see how could happen in a private game.

What i wish more people knew was that the reason sexual violence and domestic violence are so hard to talk about, is that due to secrecy, you never know who at the table has invested personal interests in those topics. And, the problem with approaching that topic is that unlike assault, the act is more likely to not be over or dealt with so swiftly. Scars from impinged free-will linger longer and stronger than physical scars, and run/cut more deeply.
