The More You Know...

If they want a parade, they can have one. Criticizing their motives as a mockery and poimtless doesnt make you a bigot.

Its one thing if they're actually celebrating something with good intentions, and another if they're doing it to criticize their opponents.

When people bring up the past regarding the history of gay civil rights, it's because the parade and march originates from that. Most people who talk about "straight pride" aren't doing it for any particular reason but to oppose gay pride hence the criticism.

Again, anyone can have a parade if they want. That doesnt mean the intentions behind it cannot be questioned. So far, I've seen only 1 instance of a "straight pride" parade being done with reasonable intentions, and that was in canada.
