While obviously it can be dangerous to wear certain items of clothing under the AFOs, and this girl is most certainly dramatic af/not using them as instructed. However, general speaking, if you’ve got to wear braces of any kind I think it’s reasonable to wear them in whatever way feels comfortable. If you wear AFOs under pants often times you also need to wear high socks under the AFOs to prevent damage which is incredibly hot, especially with eds as the skin could rip. Plastic straight on skin might be a massive issue for someone with spd too. I think it’s important to not make general sweeping statements about medical devices as they can affect people who genuinely need them.
