The more I learn about religion, the crazier it is to me that people actually believe these things

I understand your complaints about Christianity and such, I was very reluctant for a long time, but I’ve grown closer in my relationship with God. The Catholic Church is the original church, yes there have been many bad preppie who have abused its power and many sub religions have separated because they didn’t like everything they were taught. There are countless priests, bishops, and many other important figures who have weaseled their way into the church and have definitely not made it a better place. The Bible was written by humans but through the inspiration of god himself, he would never allow any false writings in it. And yes the Bible is very important, it can be taken in many forms, literal, figurative, etc. it is very important to read but also understand that not everything is literal and that it has been translated and not everything is expressed as how it should. This is why it’s important to find a good church to help decipher it, it’s not up to you alone, it’s a group effort, that’s why we have communion, because it’s supposed to be everyone coming together. And god does not condemn us to hell, he loves us more than anything, he would love nothing more than to have all of us in his kingdom with him. It is we who condemn ourselves. He had given us the power of free will, so that we can chose to love him, it’s not real love if it’s forced. All he wants is what’s best for us, and that’s not always what we want. When we chose sin over him it hurts him but he lives us regardless because he knows that human flesh is weak and his love is unconditional. Everyone sins, it’s inevitable and all sins are equal, which is why we shouldn’t condemn others based on their sexuality or what not because we all sin in different ways. But after our lives are complete and we face god himself, he is so pure in his love for us and forgives us for everything we’ve ever done against him, and for many whose sins are too great see that they we do not deserve to spend eternity with him, and in turn we condemn ourselves to hell, not him.

I know that Catholic Church and Christianity in general have a very bad reputation, but that’s because Satan is constant in his fight to keep us away from god, he’s always trying to give us a bad rep so that people will leave and join him instead. And many people misunderstand god or have been taught many false things or haven’t been taught enough and this is the problem. Christianity is far from perfect and to many may not seem like a good thing and that’s your opinion I’m not forcing anything. I’m just trying to spread the truth about my religion and what I believe in. Have a wonder day everyone, I wish you great things.
