More power to him

1) idc you still sound selfish

2) umm... sorry to break it to you but the majority of the country has, again, SUBWAYS AND TROLLEYS in major cities, meaning a majority of the population (concentrated in states) uses these modes of public transport. I live and grew up here in many different parts of the country

3) again, roads are just tracks for cars, so your perception is skewed by the fact that you think you have more control when you drive, when in reality the only choice you have is when to push the brake and accelerator

4) what kinda car holds a washing machine; how much food are you eating per week that you cant just shop more frequently and buy less each time, like a responsible adult would do?

The way you describe it sounds like you have had all your needs taken care of your whole life, and you only think you need all these things as an adult when in reality you make do with what you have and make sure it fits in with your communities needs. If you dont even drive, how do you even have experience with the inconvenciences of owning a car? which I have for 10 years now, and the 20 years before that, I took public transport. Like trains and buses.
