You have a lot of blind trust in government. You didn't answer any of my questions so I will assume that you believe government cares more about our health and well being than it does increasing power and control. That's a scary belief system.

Frankly, if the same people espousing this mindset got as upset and outraged about citizens being renditioned on the street without charges, and the nation's border security and prison guards being turned into a Interior Security Ministry to use force on US Citizens, maybe I'd be sympathetic to this line of argumentation.

Alas, they're just fine with it, so their bleating about "muh freedomz" and the evil skeery gub'mint fall on deaf ears with me.
