This morning in Hyde Park

I think you may misunderstand Pemulwuy then. Sounds an awful lot like our natives and this wasn't the lifestyle they lived so placing something that is that far off from them is the wrong way to put them into public consciousness. Ask yourself how many times you would have something they practiced and believed in your own life? you live in concrete buildings, schools, have harnessed lightning that powers light bulbs and computers in which you can speak to practically anyone in the world in an instant.

Reminds me of my own countrymen placing statues of natives which totally misses the point. That statue is there because of who you are, not what you'd like to think of yourself as.

We have a statue of a charging bull on wallstreet, if we were to instead practice a native tradition then there would be no wallstreet but perhaps animal trails and men and women practicing hunting and living off the land and nothing more.. there would be no statues or buildings or televisions or books etc.

Recognize the fact you are rebelling against that which fosters you.
